Lead capture

The form that appears at the right moment

Your agent answers the prospect's questions — and when intent shows, it asks for their details. Deduplicated, transcript attached, ready to export.

Four ways a lead gets captured

  • Pre-chat gate (optional): new visitors introduce themselves before the first message — strictest capture, for teams that want every conversation attributable.
  • Header button: a "Contact us" button in the widget header opens the form any time the visitor wants a follow-up.
  • Agent judgment: when the conversation shows buying intent — pricing questions, "can someone call me" — the agent opens the form mid-chat, at the natural moment instead of ambushing on arrival.
  • Escalation handoff: when a conversation escalates to your team and your settings require contact details, the form collects them before the human follows up.

Clean data by construction

  • Contactable, always: email or phone is required on every submission — a lead you can't reach isn't a lead.
  • Dedupe by merge: repeat submissions matching an existing email or phone update the lead rather than duplicating it; the original transcript is preserved.
  • Context attached: page URL, referrer, UTM parameters, country, device and the conversation transcript ride along with each lead.
  • Your fields: rename, require, add or disable fields per agent — company size, budget, whatever your qualification needs.

Where leads land

The Leads tab in your dashboard: filterable, with the conversation transcript one click away, and CSV export for your CRM or spreadsheet. Because the transcript is attached, sales opens every follow-up already knowing what the prospect asked — no "just checking in" emails.

Frequently Asked Questions

What fields does the form collect?

Name, email and phone out of the box — email or phone is always required, so every lead is contactable. You can rename fields, mark them required or optional, add your own, and disable ones you don’t need.

When does the form appear?

Four triggers: as a pre-chat gate for new visitors (optional), from a “Contact us” button in the widget header, mid-conversation when the agent judges the moment is right, and during an escalation when your handoff settings require contact details.

What happens when the same person submits twice?

Within a workspace, a submission matching an existing lead’s email or phone updates that lead instead of creating a duplicate — details are refreshed and merged, and the original conversation transcript is preserved.

How do I get leads into my CRM?

Leads live in the dashboard with one-click CSV export, which every CRM imports. Direct CRM integrations aren’t built in today.

Is the endpoint abuse-protected?

Yes — lead submissions are accepted only for published agents, only from your allow-listed domains when you set them, and are rate-limited per visitor. Context like page URL, referrer and UTM parameters is captured with each lead.
